Obviously this year’s holidays are going to be drastically different from year’s past for all of us. Even so it is still possible to create the same ambiance as you typically would have around the holidays. If you have been following along with me for a while you know that I keep it pretty simple with seasonal decorating. To me less is more and a bit of holiday décor spread throughout your house can go a long way. Let’s begin!
Here are some Thanksgiving decorations that I have incorporated around our home that I am loving. This year I added the back matte candlesticks and I love the style for this time of year. When decorating for Thanksgiving I stay away from bright colors of orange and red leaf garlands because I like adding in garlands that look as realistic as possible. So for our fireplace mantel I incorporated a green garland to tie in with some simple white pumpkins we picked up at our favorite local farm stand, The wheat bundle you will see below I loved because you can add a few pieces to a vase, a table spread or even add them as a decorative addition to your place setting at your dining room table.
Again, using a lot of what you have already is best and before you purchase anything else. You may even have some of the items below:) Taking inventory before you add to your seasonal décor is really helpful.

Something else in which I love to incorporate into our home throughout the year are taking clippings from our yard so that some texture is brought into our home. So for the fall and winter gathering some pretty branches with leaves always looks nice in a clear vase like I have shown below, and then in the winter months incorporating some winter greenery throughout our home not only makes it smell amazing but ties in with the season we are in.
