Sofia’s teen room on the first floor of house has been one of my favorite spots in our home EVER since we moved in because it gets LOT’S of sunshine, is nice and bright and the sectional is so comfortable. She loves to watch her favorite shows in here with her friends so it was always important for me to make it feel like a space someone their age actually wants to be in. We have plenty of games and books for her in here too. Like many of the rooms in our home this one has also evolved over the years. From the teepee in the corner that she use to play in to her now large book collection this room has grown with Sofy:)
Below is a photo of the wallpaper that we had previously which I really did love but I ended up swapping out the rug in here because the current print no longer worked with the old rug we had that was black and white. I sold it on Facebook Marketplace and then replaced it with the one below.
The GREAT thing about peel and stick wallpaper is that their are such a vast amount of patterns and colors and a lot of it is very reasonable. If you are someone like me who likes to change around décor after you have had it up a while I highly recommend trying it. It doesn’t damage your wallpaper I usually find great options on Wayfair.com but SO many different stores and websites have it now. HomeDepot.com and Target.com have it available and I have seen it physically in store at many Target’s. I do recommend watching a few Youtube tutorial’s before you install it because that will give you an idea of how to install and what tools you may want to get.

The new rug we got is as shown above and I really like it . It is a faded oriental 7×10 from Wayfair.com Here is the link. As you can see as much as I loved that palm leaf wallpaper we needed something that flowed better with the rug I bought.
After:
It is amazing what some new peel and stick wallpaper can do for a space! I love how the blue color of this faux grass cloth ties in with the rug that I bought and it looks so much like real grass cloth. Here is an up close photo of the wallpaper and color.
