One of my favorite ways to elevate a space in your home is by having some beautiful objects displayed on your kitchen counter. Something about having your butter in an elevated dish that sits on a pretty wooden cutting board I am telling you really adds a wow factor.
I have some photos below of how I style our main counter top in our home. Let’s be honest with two kids and a busy house it does not always look this pristine BUT when you do have a few items that look nice displayed I sware it motivates you to keep the counter space clean. Here is some inspiration and examples of what our kitchen countertop looks like with some of the items we use daily:
- Pretty smelling three wick candle that has a nice green color to add a pop of color
- Succulent plant
- Bowls for snacks
- Interesting object
I want you to think of a countertop in your home as an extension of a way you can elevate your space. Less is more and you can easily make a blank counter look pulled together by still utilizing things you use on a daily basis.
For example, by our oven I have a cutting board that has our olive oil, salt and pepper, and a miniature measuring cup set so that it is always right by the oven should we need it.
Below I have rounded up some inexpensive counter top accessories and options for you to take a look at for your own home. I hope you have fun with your countertops and are able to gather some inspiration from this!
A lot of the items in which I shared below can be used in a bathroom too. Succulents and a pretty candle also go a long way in a space like that too! Remember less is more and even a simple flower arrangement with some pretty greenery goes such a long way.
